Hi, I'm Alex
As the daughter of one of the original Madison Avenue Advertising men (Mad Men), I am the product of the advertising world from the start.
I was a self-taught graphic designer for almost 28 years until I went back to the Academy of Art University during COVID 19 to get my Masters of Arts degree.
Voted Best Graphic Designer in Ojai, California for six years, it has been my honor and pleasure to work with clients locally and nationally on their marketing materials, both print and web.
While technology continues to develop and grow, good design never goes out of style.

2003 - 2014
Art Director/Senior Graphic Designer
Ojai Valley School
From concept to completion, this position was the leadership role in creating, producing, and overseeing all graphics, layout, and website management for a busy graphics department. Worked collaboratively with departments to deliver creative solutions for the school. Primary responsibilities included the initial concept and layout of all advertising and publications, photo editing and organization, and creating and maintaining style settings to maintain visual branding across all platforms. Also worked with outside vendors, and assistant designers, and managed multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Operating directly under the Creative Director and Art Director, was part of a dynamic team, working on advertising and design.
1997 - 2000
Senior Designer
DataProse, Inc.
Working in an extremely fast-paced environment, this position required fast thinking creative, and production skills, for multiple clients, on very tight deadlines. Clients included Surfrider Foundation, Denver Zoo, Thousand Oaks Civic Auditorium, California Institute of the Arts, among many others. 1995 - 1997
Designer/Advertising Sales, Howard Advertising Primarily designed recruitment advertising for periodicals, while also writing copy and functioning as project manager.
